Q: What are your rates?

A:  We strive to keep our prices competitive.  For our guaranteed lowest rate, please book directly through our website so as to avoid third party fees.   For those who are unable to book a reservation in advance, we also offer a drop-in rate of $12.99 per day.    Prices may be changed at any time without notice so please check our website before booking.


Q: How long does it take to get to Newark Liberty International Airport from SNAP?

A: We are conveniently located 2 miles away, which is approximately 5 minutes from the airport.  While our shuttles operate throughout the day, unforeseen traffic and roadway conditions sometimes can cause a slight delay.


Q: What hours do you operate?

A: We are always open, 24/7, 365 days a year.


Q: Are reservations required?

A: No, reservations are not required. However, because the facility does become full during peak travel season, reservations are highly recommended.


Q: How do I make a reservation?

A:  Reservations are free and may be booked through our website.


Q: How is the length of stay calculated?

A: SNAP’s daily rate is calculated using 24 hour increments.  Upon your return, you will have a grace period of 2 hours beyond that 24 hour increment at no charge, after which SNAP will charge the additional day.

Example: Within the Grace Period
If you book a Check-in time for 12:00 PM day 1 and Return at 1:30 PM day 3, then you will be charged 2 days because the Check-out time is within the 2 hour grace period.

Example: Beyond the Grace Period
If you book a Check-in time for 12:00 PM day 1 and Return at 2:30 PM day 3, then you will be charged 3 days because the Check-out time is beyond the 2 hour grace period.


Q: What is our reservation cancellation policy?

A: Reservations may be cancelled at any time without incurring a fee.


Q: Can I park the car myself?

A: No as we are a 100% valet parking facility. Our courteous and professional staff has over 20 years of valet parking experience.


Q: How secure is your facility?

A: The facility is completely gated and covered by electronic surveillance inside and out. Our CCTV records the 230,000 square foot structure 24/7.


Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.


Q: Why is there a 15% Parking Tax?

A: The City of Newark requires all parking facilities to collect a 15% Parking Tax.


Q: How often do your shuttles operate?

A: We provide on-demand shuttle vans from our facility to the terminals as we are always open. We run on your schedule.


Q: Do you have Discount Coupons?

A: By joining SNAP Pass Loyalty member (free of charge), you will automatically collect points that can be redeemed for discounts and other valuable services.


Q: How do I get to your facility?

A: We are located at 98 Frelinghuysen Ave., Newark, NJ. Click on our directions page for fastest access.


Q: Where do I meet the shuttle upon arrival at the terminal?

A: Please call us for your pick-up after you claim your baggage and walk out at our designated pick-up points at each terminal. Currently, the following pick-up points are designated for your pick-up at each terminal:

  • Terminal A: Go to the Parking Level, walk out to the street and wait at the traffic light near lane #6
  • Terminal B: Go to the Parking Level, cross over two streets to the middle island; lane #5, you should see a sign says SHARED RIDE SERVICES
  • Terminal C: Go to the Baggage Level, cross over to center island lane #1

Q: Is there a charge for large SUVs and/or oversized vehicles?

A: Large SUVs and other oversized vehicles will be subject to a $19.99 daily rate. Vehicles that are subject to this rate include:

  • Cadillac: Escalade (all models)
  • Chevrolet: Suburban, Tahoe, Avalanche, Express, Silverado, all LTs and pickup trucks
  • Dodge: Sprinter, RAM/Pickup
  • Ford: Expedition, Excursion, Flex, all pickup trucks and vans including Super Duty, E- and F-Series
  • GMC: Sierra, Suburban, Yukon, Denali, all pickup trucks, LTs, and vans
  • Honda: Ridgeline
  • Hummer: All Hummer models
  • Infiniti: QX 56
  • Lincoln: Aviator, Navigator
  • Mercedes: Sprinter
  • Nissan: Armada, Titan Pickup
  • Toyota: Tundra, Sequoia, all pickup trucks

All vehicles that have a hitch or rear attachment will be subject to this rate.

SNAP reserves the right to park oversized vehicles on our outdoor lot.  Due to the location and size of our car wash facility, we are regretfully not able to accommodate oversized vehicles for car wash/detail services.


Q.  Can I park at SNAP without proper license plates?

A.  No.  All vehicles should be registered and insured with proper plates.  In fact, we reserve the right to refuse any vehicles without proper plates.
